Meet the dentist
The exam and the x-ray show what is wrong: where the decay is, how deep it goes, and how much sound tooth is left to work with. You see the film yourself.

The plan
You hear what the treatment involves, what it costs, and what happens if it is left. If root canal treatment is what the tooth needs, that comes up here rather than three appointments later.

Once you say yes
Local anaesthetic, then all the decay comes out and the space is rebuilt in white composite, shaded against the tooth beside it.

The polish and the bite check
The filling is smoothed, and your bite is checked against the teeth it meets and adjusted in the chair until you cannot feel it. A filling a fraction too high gets noticed at every meal, so it is worth the extra minutes.

A bridge closes the gap: one piece, carried by crowns on the teeth either side, fitted over a few visits and colour-matched to the rest. Implants are not placed at this clinic.

Closes a gap with a one-piece appliance, carried by crowns on the teeth either side.
Root canal treatment
Not done in this office. An endodontist takes it from here, and your file stays with us.
Insurance typically covers a meaningful share. We bill directly and confirm your coverage before treatment starts.

Do you perform root canals?
No. Root canal treatment is referred to an endodontist — a dentist whose practice is limited to it. The exam here identifies whether that is what the tooth needs, and the clinic makes the referral.
Do you place dental implants?
No. Implants are not placed at this clinic. Where a tooth is missing, the options discussed here are a bridge or a denture.
How much is a bridge?
Bridges start from $1,500.
How much is a filling?
Fillings run $214–$498. Where yours falls depends on the size of the repair and how many surfaces of the tooth it covers, and the exam is what tells you which end of that range your tooth is at.
Can you tell me whether the tooth can be repaired?
