Student plans
Plans from colleges and universities across Ontario are billed from the desk. On the TMU and U of T plans, the plan share plus our Studentcare network discount cover the eligible exam and cleaning: $0 out of pocket. On any other plan, the desk checks yours before you book.
Your plan year ends August 31 — unused coverage doesn’t roll over.

Most dental anxiety is not only about pain. It is about not knowing what the dentist sees, what the options mean or what the number will be.
So the first visit is built around four promises — enough time to look properly, plain words, costs before treatment and room to decide.
First visits are given extra care on purpose. There is time for digital X-rays, a full look around and every question you came in carrying.
Nobody is moved along to keep a schedule. The appointment runs as long as the explanation takes.
Findings are shown on your own X-rays and photographs, on screen, while the dentist explains what they mean in plain language.
You should not have to agree to treatment you cannot see or understand. Medical jargon stays in the textbooks where it belongs.
Every plan is explained with its alternatives, the reason behind the recommendation and the exact costs before anything begins.
Insurance is billed directly from the desk. You know what your plan pays and what, if anything, remains before treatment starts.
Advice comes first, and the decision stays yours.
You can ask more questions, take the plan home or decide that now is not the time. We would rather you leave unhurried than say yes uneasily. The door stays open either way.

The dentist took time to clearly explain my x-ray results in simple terms, which I really appreciated. The office is very clean and modern, the pricing is reasonable, and I also received a thoughtful first time patient gift. I chose the electric toothbrush and it is excellent quality. My teeth feel amazing and I would definitely return.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at RU Smiling Dental! From the moment I walked in, the office was clean and aesthetic and the staff helped me out right away. The assistant and hygienist were very kind and explained everything to me and did a great job! Dr. Lana was very kind and took time to explain everything to me and made me feel reassured about everything! Overall had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back!

Where we are, and when
The clinic is at 10 Dundas St E, Unit B102, in The Tenor — at Yonge & Dundas, two blocks from TMU and across from the Eaton Centre. One level below the street, on the platform level.
The last part of the trip is the part people worry about: which door, which level, and whether the desk is open when you get there.
Off the subway at TMU Station: stay on the platform level and walk to Unit B102 — it is the same level, no stairs at all. Off the streetcar: enter at Yonge & Dundas and take the stairs one level down.
